Inspired by traditional Mexican craftsmanship from Oaxaca, this small workshop is an exploration of texture, embroidery, and community.

As part of my portrait studies, I’m working on the same face in two different techniques.

This version is done in oil pastel, a way for me to understand how each material creates different textures, depth, and emotional presence. I’m fascinated by how the same portrait can completely transform depending on the medium.
